Welcome to Easy Travel CR, and welcome to Costa Rica!
My wife Laura and I would like to thank you for supporting our family-run business. We live with our two children in the foothills of the Arenal Volcano, and are at your service in your journeys throughout Costa Rica. For us it is truly a pleasure to share our beautiful home with you.
No one comes to Costa Rica to spend time in a van, they come for the natural beauty and the rich culture. At Easy Travel CR we want to serve your journey. For us, the joy of travel isn’t just in the arrival, but in the adventure as well. Wherever you’re coming from, wherever you’re going, we want to take you there.
Our friendly and punctual drivers are ready to take you where you need to go, and happy to stop for a bite to eat or a gorgeous photo opportunity along the way if you so desire. For us, Costa Rica isn’t just our business, it is our family and our home. We don’t want you to feel like customers, we want you to feel like family.

We hope that in your travels here you can experience much of Costa Rican culture. One thing we promise that you will not experience with us is “Tico-time”. Our drivers are always punctual, because we know that even just a five minute delay might be the reason you don’t see a sloth climbing over the lobby of your next hotel.

We are a family run business based on the relationships we have formed with our partners in more than a decade working in tourism. Our goal in being a lean company is to pass on the savings of minimal overhead to you.

I have worked in tourism for over five years, and in that time come to learn what makes trips truly memorable for tourists. I have also personally traveled all over Costa Rica, and hope to combine my knowledge of the Costa Rican countryside with my experience in tourism to make your journey with us truly an adventure.
Mary Laura Salas

My loving wife Laura has worked by my side in tourism throughout our relationship, and beyond that is an incredible mother and incomparable partner. The organizational skills to manage a family of four sometimes make my head spin, and yet my wife handles it all with grace and her beautiful smile.
Derek Carranza Salas

Our older son Derek knows how to get loud, especially when his younger brother has borrowed toys without permission. We figure there’s no better person to help get the word out about our company. Who needs viral marketing when Derek can just shout out our name from the top of Arenal Volcano?

When our younger son Aaron isn’t ‘helping’ us in the office, he’s in the kitchen learning to cook with Grandma. He makes some of the most delicious pancakes you’ve ever had, and Aaron promises the second best service to all of our customers (Because the best pancakes always go to Mommy).
